From New Line Cinema, Peter Jackson and Warner Bros. comes J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit, brought to the big screen in an epic trilogy. Weta Workshop was thrilled to return to Middle-earth once again, contributing design, specialty props and specialty costumes to all three films.
When the Dragon Smaug fell upon Dale, its people were ill prepared and many perished amid the flame and ruin of the beast's first assault. Only one of the city's wind lances would loose its black iron bolts at the Dragon.
When the Dragon falls from the sky to blanket Lake-town in a vengeful firestorm, Bard breaks free and mounts a desperate, one man defence. Leaping across the faltering rooftops and dancing between the flames he sends arrow after arrow at the beast as his family and the people of Lake-town are consumed or flee.
There are people of extraordinary talent operating in today's world that have similar skills as the great masters of yesteryear. It just happens to be that the canvas that they paint on is the darkened screen of the cinemas of the world.

Behind-the-Scenes on The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies
Beautifully illustrated by Gus Hunter: one of our senior concept designers at Weta Workshop. Gus was one of the original Weta crew who produced much of The Lord of the Rings conceptart as part of the VFX Art Department.
The dimensions of the print are 22.8in x 11.8in (580mm x 300mm). A lovely cinematic format. It's printed on good quality 170 gsm satin paper and ships rolled up in a VERY sturdy poster tube. It will arrive in pristine condition, ready to be framed and hung, pride of place, in your home.
What a fail... the quality and detail on the internet pics is much higher than what you receive later. I am so disappointed about this art print. The Smaug is absolutely unfocused. If you take the pic from the web and print it for sure quality will be very similar. Never buy one again.
Smaug the Magnificent
Beautiful Art print of Smaug, Love the darkness of the picture. Just can not wait to get a statue of Smaug to go with it.
I received an \"Art Print\" with poor quality. It seems to be blurred and it is damaged.
I contacted the customer service 2 months ago but they don\'t feel the need to even answer. Very bad!
Very nice art print, and the surprise: it is signed! :) Price was also good, because I bought it at sales. My only problem is the size, will be hard to find a correct picture frame, although I think this format looks really cool.
