An ancient being from across the western seas, at the end of the Third Age of Middle-earth Gandalf the Grey was a guide and friend to the Hobbit Frodo Baggins in his quest.
Though he travelled in the wild under many names and appeared to most as little more than a ragged old man beneath a wide-brimmed hat, Gandalf’s shabby guise hid a power that only the wisest truly knew and few could match.
As the leader of the Fellowship of the Ring, the Wizard was wise and far-sighted, brave and selfless. Gandalf it was who first uncovered the true nature of the One Ring. Though he was doubted by many and resisted by others, Gandalf worked tirelessly to counsel and marshal the free peoples of the world against Sauron’s imminent return.

The statue itself is beautiful but after a couple days lots of grey spots kept on coming over which took off paint and textures. Sent photos to support and they said there is nothing wrong with it after a week of emailing. Extremely disappointing, would like to buy more but if that is the quality of the statues and support than maybe not

This was my first statue for favorite character with whom maybe only Darth Vader may compete.
Statue looks absolutely incredible, with amazing details be it life-like face, great beard, and amazingly detailed vagabond wizard robe.
It even made me discover details I was not aware of like pipe hidden within Gandalf's staff.
Only minor issue is plastic sword that is not perfectly straight, but it is not visible.
Overall, this is the best Gandalf statue I saw Weta make.

Recieved my gandalf classic series today and i love the statue itself good likeness to ian mcellan what im disapointed in is the peg is far to big for the hole i am going to have to try and cut it down a bit if i can but really should not have to do this to a £250 statue weta need to look at they QC

First one, the hook is set
I wasn\'t planning to collect statues until this one. To me, it\'s one of the most iconic figures, in one of the most iconic poses, helping to encapsulate both the mystique and stoic nature of Gandalf. The attention to detail is remarkable, and the size is quick perfect for book shelves and most other displays. Weta has done well here. So far, it\'s my favorite (and I now own several others).

Stunning!
Gandalf the Grey brings up different things from person to person. Some see him as elegant. Others wise and aloof. But there is no denying a mysterious air about him. A aura of power and of purpose. This statue captures those qualities perfectly. Between the flow of his robes to the flesh tones of his face, this piece is a wonderful addition to anyone’s collection. It is very sturdy and is exactly as pictured.
