From New Line Cinema, Peter Jackson and Warner Bros. comes J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit, brought to the big screen in an epic trilogy. Weta Workshop was thrilled to return to Middle-earth once again, contributing design, specialty props and specialty costumes to all three films.
Passed down through generations, the very best recipes are important documents.
We have managed to get our hands on three of the favourites from Bilbo Baggins's kitchen at Bag End, thanks to calligrapher Daniel Reeve of the 3Foot7 Art Department, and have reproduced them in art print form for you to add to your family's staples.
The recipes come in a set of three:
Stuffing (for chicken or bird of your choice)
Our authentic prop replicas and collectibles are created by the very same artists who have worked on the three films, so effectively they come straight from Middle-earth.

As these are ancient documents, you will find that some measurements used are equally ancient - you may need to improvise the size of a 'noggin of sugar' or 'scruple of butter' for your Pastry Cakes.
And please do consider the diminutive size of a Hobbit when you add the 'handful of sage' to your stuffing!?
Bought these a few years back and although they are cool they could\'ve been done way better!
They are printed on shiny paper while the stong aged paper on which Bilbo\'s Portait is printed would have been better suited for this!
Would also have been nice is this was a set like the one with the \"MIDDLE-EARTH - FROM SCRIPT TO SCREEN\" book.
Daniel Reeve hidden props
I love all Daniel Reeve props , so as soon as I saw it , I had to get them.(the price it is also great)
The print is high quality and you can see these props where created over artisan papers ( with the difficult to use them to write ).
This kind of things are impossible to be seen in the movie , but I guess they were there , in some point of Bag End. It is really interesting to see how little details like this are done. Even if they dont appear on screen.
I hope more prints of this kind will be offered through WETA.
