Before them, their comrades-in-arms endured the onslaught of the Dark Lord's minions, holding fast within their fortress. It was in this dire hour that King Théoden™ marshalled his forces, stirring the spirits of his kinfolk, condemning the shadow's oppression, and pronouncing their decree: Death.
This penultimate moment of majesty has been faithfully recreated here as a stunning sculptural masterpiece. Senior sculptor Mauro Santini worked wonders into every element of this collectible, from the imposing weight of the warhorse Snowmane™, about to burst forth with righteous fury, to the finely detailed leather armour of King Théoden, accented with brass plating and built for battle.
King Théoden’s armour is a well-known example of the level of care and dedication that Wētā Workshop put into realizing the world of Middle-earth, with the screen-used armour having been on display in our Wētā Cave for many years, the intricacies of each and every feature viewed in all its glory by thousands of fans from around the globe.
It was evident that this collectible demanded a similar level of excellence. As members of the same group that worked on these magnificent pieces over 20 years ago, our team was able to accurately and authentically recreate this glimpse of Middle-earth’s history—a sincere homage to an enduring legacy.

"He is my favourite character. I tried to convey all the emotions I felt while watching that scene, capturing the very soul of the character, especially in that moment when he shouts 'DEATH!' Even his horse embodies that battle cry, reflecting that strength. Théoden and Snowmane are in perfect sync, possessing an iron will determined to bring about that demise. It’s powerful."

Captures the momentAn absolute stunning work of craftsmanship. It really captures that epic moment before the charge "Ride forth Eorlingas". This statue of King Theoden has a prominent place in my entrance hall and each time I enter I feel the adrenaline of the rohirrim ready to charge.
Hopefully there will be more Rohan-related characters in the future.

Great Customer ServiceThis is a fantastic statute from Weta. I had been waiting a long time for King Theoden and the statute speaks for itself. My review here is to compliment Weta on their response to the crack issue with Snowmane's leg. Mine was one of those that suffered from that issue. However, Weta offered a complete replacement and that would have involved recommissioning new replacements at the factory given it's a limited edition. As a statue collector I am patient with timings and I was extremely impressed at what I consider a fast turnaround of just 4 months before the replacement was delivered to my front door. Weta are one of the few company's that care about their product and customers and is an example of showing their quality to their loyal customer and fan base. Breakages with statues are part of this hobby if you're in it long enough. Stuff happens but the stress and initial disappointment was put at ease by the way Weta quietly handled it without fuss! Thank you Weta!
