Théoden presided over the kingdom of Rohan during the War of the Ring.

Seeking to weaken the realms of men as a prelude to his own ascendence, the treacherous Wizard Saruman sews discord between Théoden and his most loyal captains. Saruman used dark magic to infect the king’s mind and wither his body, sending his false counsellor Gríma Wormtongue to steer the ailing king.

By the time Gandalf the White comes to Edoras, Saruman’s hold on Théoden is very strong. The king’s son Théodred lies dead and the cunning Wormtongue has contrived to exile Éomer and many of Rohan’s best riders. Gandalf must free the king of the fallen Wizard’s control and restore him to full mind and body. Crown upon his brow and sword in hand, King Théoden stands with a straight back once more. The king casts out the faithless Wormtongue and sets about preparing Rohan for the attack he knows must now come.

Our authentic prop replicas and collectibles are designed by the very same artists who have worked on the films, coming straight from Middle-earth.

This 1:4 scale Crown and Brooch is made from metal with a polystone stand and comes in an edition of just 750.

Accompanying your Limited Edition helm: an exclusive behind-the-scenes insert written by Wētā Workshop senior concept designer and author, Daniel Falconer, detailing how the film version was brought to the big screen!

Please note: Images are of a pre-production prototype. Each piece is hand painted and some variations may occur.

It takes hundreds of hours to design, sculpt model make, mold, and paint the prototype for each new Middle-earth piece. Whether it be a prop replica, beautiful environment, or iconic character, we treat our collectibles with the same level of care and attention to detail that we bring to our film work.
