    This gorgeous piece of jewellery has the famous words in ancient elven script engraved on the inside and outside of the ring, as well as on the beautiful wooden gift box made from natural Walnut timber. The box can be displayed open thanks to an ingenius and almost invisible elastic hinge or closed with a strong rare-earth magnet.

    The lid features a The Lord of the Rings logo on the outside and the logos of Weta and Jens Hansen on the inside. The inside bottom of the box is lined with blue velvet.

    Like anything made from natural timber, variations in grain and colour will occur and the colour may also change over time. This is an entirely natural process.

    My father Jens Hansen knew and loved J.R.R. Tolkien’s books, and was very excited when he heard the movies were going to be filmed in New Zealand. Then came a phone call asking if he would make The One Ring. He was thrilled and honoured, as we are to have created the world's most authentic One Ring replica exclusively for Weta, and for you.

    WAYS TO WEAR

    Wear your One Ring on your finger, or on a Sterling Silver chain - such as Weta's 25 inch (65 cm) long chain upon which Frodo Baggins carried the One Ring in The Lord of the Rings. Also designed by Jens Hansen, this chain, with its unique S-shaped clasp is an exact replica of the chain that features in the close-up shots in the movies.

      I had this purchased for me as my wedding ring and honestly, the presentation and the sheer workmanship on this ring is incredibly beautiful. I love the weight, not to mention the details in the box and ring itself.

      This is a very interesting looking ring. It is much thicker than any normal wedding style band most people would wear. I have an 18ct gold heavy weight band and this ring is much thicker. I had initially thought I would wear this ring but it is much too thick for that. I have also ordered the sterling silver Frodo chain and I will be displaying it on that instead. It is definitely a nice ring and as an authentic replica, you obviously won't find a nicer more accurate ring. Now if it was only in gold! Maybe the next one.

      The One Ring - Unbelievable details, inside and outside. Great weight. It is the closest artifact to experience Tolkien\'s masterpiece of a story.
      On a personal note, I\'m not a man that fancy\'s wearing jewelries but this, this simply is not coming off.

      The Case - I love products made of wood and this is a perfectly designed case showcasing the element. Wonderful engraving throughout. Compact.

      Weta - Professional support with passion. Great advice was given and inquiries were explained exceptionally.

      Even though this ring doesn\'t look like the one ring in the movie because of it\'s material, it still have it\'s unique temptation. I can stare at it for few hours even I\'ve already bought it for a year.

      I actually bought the ring and a chain at Weta tour. Just wanted it to be a memorable moment. The ring is gorgeous and so heavy... Love it because of that. The box is so beautiful, just the right fit. Ah, perfect, just perfect. Absolutely worth it.

    14. One of my favourites
      I wore this non-stop for six months (before my gold version arrived, and now I'm wearing that), and often found myself just looking at it, turning it over on my finger to see the beautifully rendered script. It is very solid and heavy - which is just what I like in a ring - and there is no danger of it bending or losing its shape as some finer rings can do.

      I do think WETA should offer some other sizes, though - I am by no means small, and the smallest size available (N.5) fits my largest finger, so I suspect that it would be too big for many women. Make more sizes! - I'm sure they'd sell.
