THE MINI EPICS STORY
For more than 27 years, Weta Workshop has created creatures, characters, and entire worlds for the screen - all from our home in Wellington, New Zealand. For a mammoth seven years, we helped to bring The Lord of the Rings to life, crafting thousands of props, costumes, weapons, armour, and miniatures! We've worked on some of the world's coolest movies like Avatar and King Kong, and even picked up five Academy Awards along the way. We're a busy bunch.
OUR COLLECTIBLES
When The Fellowship of the Ring landed in 2001, we weren't about to let the world of Middle-earth stop at the screen. We set about bringing it to shelves, cabinets, and tabletops across the globe! Channelling all that passion and artistry into beautiful statues, these amazing pieces were designed by the same Weta Workshop artists who work on our film projects. And it is still that way today.

Broken packaged and bad paintingI order this for my husband birthday.
I received it with broken packaged and it was bad painting (there is beard painting overflowing on the nose). I contact Weta Workshop who propose to refund but they never do it. I wanted to order another figure for my husband because I can\'t offer this one. I\'m very disappointed. -
The gold standardThis is how you do a figure - it has the essence of the character but with flourish and warmth! detail of the mail is great too

Gimli Mini EpicAs with the other figures in this line, Gimli is fantastic! The stylized look works especially well with Gimli\'s dwarf nature. The short and stocky body are perfect. The details on his ax are insane and that red beard... Oh my God!!! :)

What a treasure!There isn\'t enough good things I can say about this figure. I\'ve always been a fan of stylized figurines and to be able to collected such figures, from The Lord of the Rings no doubt, is a dream come true. I collect statues of all shapes and sizes yet of all the pieces I own, I\'ve failed to add characters from The Hobbit or LotR to my collection. That\'s all about to change. Gimli is the first figure I received from this line and he will not be the last. I love everything about this vinyl and I plan to support the line until the end. Weta please keep up the amazing work!

Love Love Love!I love everything about this figure, from his massive axe to his fantastic red beard! The fact that it has some weight to it is great, it doesn\'t feel \"cheap\" in any way. Mine arrived with what I assume is the wrong stand (since the pegs are different shapes and do not fit together), but he can definitely stand on his own. All in all, great piece for a great price.. Now I just need a Gandalf to go with it!

Favourite Christmas PresentMy awesome wife bought me this figure for Christmas and it was by far the best thing I received. Amazing detail, much bigger than I thought it would be, has a good mix of accuracy to the film and a unique style of it’s own. This will become a collection quickly, and was thrilled to see the figures that are upcoming in the series that it advertised in the booklet with the figure. Highly recommended.

Amazing piece of art but... BrokenAbsolutely love the detail on this one... from the etched belts to the chain mail, every detail is highlighted on Gimli
The colors used are vibrant and rich
But Mine arrived broken. The axe head arrived detached from the hilt and as far as i can tell they are not meant to be interlocked like legos.
So now Gimli looks more like a dwarf holding a baseball bat -
