Winner of seventeen Academy Awards, The Lord of the Rings was brought to the big screen by New Line Cinema and directed by Peter Jackson. Wētā Workshop was intrinsically involved in the design and physical effects manufacture for all three films.

ELVEN WARRIOR

1:6 scale statue - Limited Edition of 750
Dimensions:
(W x H x L) 28.5 cm x 34 cm x 22.5 cm
Weight: 6.614 lbs (3 kg)
Principal Sculptor:

Beneath the starry banner Noldorin King Gil-galad assembles a mighty host of High Elven warriors. With bright shields, high-crested helms and shining armour, the steely-eyed Eldar comprise a wall of gleaming gold in the face of a charging Orc horde.

It is the Second Age of Middle-earth and the vast armies of Gil-galad and Elendil stand together against the Shadow, a Last Alliance of Elves and Men, laying siege to their great enemy, Sauron. As the innumerable Orc berserkers bear down upon their line, composure and discipline holds the Elves resolute and unwavering before a sudden flash of synchronized Elven swordplay cuts down the first wave of attackers. Curved blades sweep in effortless unison and more Orcs fall. Though greatly outnumbered, the High Elves outmatch their broken foes in every measurable way, and the Orc rabble crashes futilely against their ranks like water cast against stone, black blood running in rivers at their feet.

Our authentic prop replicas and collectibles are designed by the very same artists who have worked on the three films, so effectively they come straight from Middle-earth.

Elven Warrior joins Wētā Workshop's high-quality 1:6 scale Middle-earth line; a line that was designed by the very same artists and technicians who work on our movies.

It takes 400-500 hours to design, sculpt, model make, mold, and paint the prototype for each new Middle-earth piece. Whether it be a prop replica, beautiful environment or iconic character, we treat our collectibles with the same level of care and attention to detail that we bring to our film work.

Please note: images are of a pre-production prototype. Each statue is painted by hand and slight variations will occur.

  8. Perfect!
This scene has stuck with me for years! I remember sitting in the movie theater in awe, so I jumped at the chance to purchase this statue recreating such an iconic scene! Love it! The colors are amazing, the pose is perfect, this was definitely a must buy!

  10. Very Nice Figurine, Pity About The Green Screen
Another rather nice Weta release. I bought this one a while back and was reasonably happy overall. A nice warrior stance with excellent detailing. My main disappointment though was how different the colouring of the armour was when compared to the website images. I understand their will always be variations etc. but it looks so stunning in gold with a blue and grey cloak with lots of dirt details as is shown here, but in reality the armour was green, not gold, and the cloak mainly blue and lacking the dark grey and the dirt detailing. Weta needs to just be more aware that even if displaying a prototype, they need to insure the paintwork is a little closer to the final result. still a great piece though! keep up the good work.

  11. Lucky
I am so blessed to get this before it sold out. The space I have is limited and although I have many of the smaller figures , this is just my third one of this size. It is absolutely amazing! My absolute favorite in my growing collection Thanks

  12. You Missed Out Big Time
This is one of the best pieces of I\'ve ever seen in my life. The way his cloak is designed is magnificent. The details on the sculpt are all amazing, and you can\'t but look in awe every time you see this stunning piece. The only downside to this piece is that I thought he would be all gold, but there is a tent of green paint all over his armor. Overall Quality: A++. Keep up the good work Sam Gao.

  13. Love This Piece
If you are a fan of the elven warrior, like I am, this is a must have. The detail is great and the dynamic pose really makes this a unique statue. As mentioned by others, the biggest difference between the photos and the actual statue you will receive is that the armor does have a greenish tint. However, this really isn\'t a problem because it\'s both film accurate and it looks great! You should get this statue while you can!

  14. Stunning
The pose that he has struck with his robes flowing around him is simply stunning, the greenish tinge on his armour really looks good. Get him while you can, he is my favourite.

  15. Amazing but with one flaw
This is an amazing statue, the details are perfection, the flow of the character, and of course the scene are incredible. My one big gripe has to do with the color of the armor. I was under the impression that it was gold, at least according to the photos posted on Weta. However, my statue #690 has a very distinct shade of green in the armor. Which caused it too look light green and not gold. While the statue, pose and the amazing attention to detail are still incredible, I am slightly disappointed with the paint choice for the armor. Still an overall good buy for any LOTRO fan, and quality work from Weta.

  16. An historic statue.
The memorable scene of the High Elven Warriors lined up in front of coming Orcs creating a gold wall, to rotate their swords and slaughter them, constitutes one of the most unique scenes of the whole Trilogy, at least for me. The scene pictures the perfectness and the feeling of dedication which characterise the Elves in their try to accomplish their aim.
Thanks to this excellent work from Mr. Sam Gao, combined with the aggressive movement of the statute, every single time that I will see it, it will reminds me of that historic scene which made me to shudder 15 years ago.

    Thank you.
