The most iconic creature from The Lord Of The Rings movie trilogy, Gollum was also a technological breakthrough. Sculpted by Wētā Workshop, superbly acted by Andy Serkis whose motions were captured and then masterfully rendered for the cinema by Weta Digital.
Expertly sculpted by Daniel Cockersell, Gollum is an essential addition to your Wētā Workshop miniatures collection. The statue is an Open Edition piece.
Our authentic prop replicas and collectibles are designed by the very same artists who have worked on the three films, so effectively they come straight from Middle-earth.
It takes 400-500 hours to design, sculpt, model make, mold, and paint the prototype for each new Middle-earth piece. Whether it be a prop replica, beautiful environment or iconic character, we treat our collectibles with the same level of care and attention to detail that we bring to our film work.

Gollum impressed meThe one thing that I\'ve learnt about Weta\'s line of statues, is that the photos taken on the website will never properly represent the quality of the product in person. I won two of the miniature statues and each one is immensely impressed me with the level of detail that isn\'t sacrificed for such a small scale statue.
The miniature line I believe is a line that should be explored and added to more in the Weta product lineup simply for the price, space take-up and quality these statues still have. If you\'re looking for another miniature statue that\'s available on the website, I\'d highly recommend the Smaug statue available on the Desolation of Smaug tab as that one was worth every penny.
Looking forward to more additions to the Lord of the Rings/Hobbit lineup. -

Superbe figurineTrès réaliste!!! Bien plus belle en vrai qu\'en photo notamment au niveau des détails: yeux larmoyants, morve, sang séché, et surtout les cheveux (alors que sur le site on aurait dit des traits de peinture grossiers!)

Amazing!This mini depicts Gollum in such a characteristic pose that it really brings the whole piece to life! This is incredibly well made all the way from the stone that Gollum is sitting on to the veins and folds in his skin. The paintjob is absolutely brilliant. The hair on the preview images definitely doesn\'t look very appealing but I\'m happy to say that it looks ten times better in real life! The hair actually has some texture to it and it looks much better in person. All in all a great piece!

Excellent but not to scale with other mini figuresThis is a brilliant piece. My one comment would be that while all the other figures in this line seem to match each other in size this one seems to be a little larger and therefore doesn\'t perfectly match the rest of the set.
