    Of all the terrors to confront the Fellowship of the Ring on their journey, none can compare with the Balrog. A demon of flame and shadow, the Balrog has lain entombed for countless ages in the deepest darkness, far beneath the Misty Mountains.

    Renowned fantasy artist, and long-time friend of the Workshop, Jerry Vanderstelt joined us at Emerald City Comic-Con in 2018 to create this masterful Middle-earth painting in just four days!

    This fiery print of The Balrog is limited to 2000 pieces worldwide. Measuring 24 x 18 inches (W x H), the artwork comes numbered and signed by the artist, with a Certificate of Authenticity.

    Fans and visitors to Comic-Con watched as Jerry masterfully attacked the paper with his brushes, airbrush and paint, producing this stunning painting.
