Among the oldest beings in Middle-earth, the Lady Galadriel was wise beyond the measure of mortal men. Many wars she has seen, and many friends lost. Sorrow and farsightedness kept shuttered the furnace that burned within her, restraining the fiery wrath of her Noldorin heritage.

Galadriel sat upon the White Council of Elves and Wizards. In centuries past, the council had been formed to watch for a sign of Sauron’s return, and while long years of relative peace may have lulled some into complacency, Galadriel’s purpose was as keen as ever. Tempered in fire, the steel of the Lady’s resolve had never been sharper, and her gaze turned ever east where shadows lengthened.

Presiding over the Council’s deliberations was Saruman the White, Chief of the Order of Istari, but it was Gandalf the Grey whom Galadriel trusted most. When the windblown Wizard came to Rivendell bearing a strange blade and word of things moving in the dark, the Lady of Lorien was there to greet him. A fond reunion it was, for the two were old friends of like spirit and had shared much, but of greatest import to Galadriel was the news he bore of stirrings in the ancient fortress of Dol Guldur...

This statue captures both her statuesque strength, and the lively beginnings of a smile as she turns to meet Gandalf's eye - their alliance, and her power, needs no dialogue.

The duality of unbelievable power and cool restraint is ever present in Galadriel; within the swirl of orcs and men, her scenes are often quiet but brimming with energy. We only ever see glimpses of her true force. In this scene, Galadriel allows a moment of warmth to break through.

  1. Flawless
As expected the Lady of the Galadhrim is absolutely flawless. I have no notes.

This statue Galadriel at Dol Guldur is in my opinion a (complete) printed statue. Base is also printed. Plastic and hollow. But I love the statue of Galadriel. Very good paint job and great print, maybe the best you can have. The look and feel is good! I must admit I love the polystone base more. But for costs and maybe this is something for Weta to consider is to make two versions one totally printed cheaper version and the more expensive version totally polystone. Great likeness! Great statue! Great work Weta!

  4. Impressed
To be honest I prefer the action poses and only bought this because it was on sale. However, it has become one of my favorite pieces; beautifully subtle sculpt and paintjob.

  5. Impressive indeed!
Just received today. Pic on Weta\'s website didn\'t do justice on Galadriel\'s face as it looked kinda puffy on the cheeks. Quite pleasantly surprised turn out better than expected. Im a happy camper!

  6. The best rendition of Galadriel, without a doubt
Considering this is an open piece I think it\'s the best rendition of Lady Galadriel, just as the Grey Pilgrim is the best rendition of Gandalf, but then I am biased. Whenever I get over confident with my own sculpting I look at these and think OK I\'m not even close.

  7. Galadriel of the White Council
Just received my Galadriel after waiting a long time in the US - no fault of Weta!

The statue is amazing, a great size, and full of intricate details. I\'m very impressed and keep finding more reasons to buy more pieces.

  8. The Lady of Lòrien
The lady of light and bearer of Nenya, seems to be sculpted by a magician! Shi is portrayed standig in all her grace and strength which reveals peace and maternal protection. The dress falls softly on the steps immortalizing her in the very same position in which we saw her in the movie. I give 4 stars due to the flat coloring of the face.

  9. Absolutely in love with this classic piece
Wonderful Weta. Thank you! Worth the long waiting time.. This was the best that I own from you, also because it is the most precious character for me.
No words to describe her beauty. Excellent work and piece. Incredible the sculpting and paint job.
Beautiful, thank you so much for this beauty.
    Dress and pose is epic.

  10. Lady of Light
Age may have changed me, but not so the Lady of Lorien.

  11. Galadriel
Latest Galadriel to add to the collection. The statue looks stunning, great likeness and a beautiful, detailed gown. My only gripe with these newest open editions is the fact that the material seems of slightly lower quality? Are they hollow or made with some plastic? They just don\'t have the weight of sturdiness of the other ones.
