Daughter of the Elf Lord Elrond of Rivendell, Arwen Undómiel was among the most beautiful of the High Elves of her Age.
Though as an immortal Elf she was many centuries his senior, Arwen's heart belonged to Aragorn, a mortal man and ward of Elrond who dwelt in Rivendell under the tutelage of the Elves and was fated to some day reclaim the lost throne of Gondor.
This love was no easy thing to bear in the time of the War of the Ring, when the time of the Elves was waning and her people were leaving Middle-earth for the Undying Lands. As a mortal, that way to the uttermost west was barred to Aragorn, leaving Arwen to choose between her family and people, and the man she loved.
For the sake of her affection, Arwen chose a mortal life, and in so doing bound her own life to the fate of the Ring. She would wed Aragorn as a mortal woman in the event of his unlikely triumph, or fade into darkness beneath the shadow of Sauron's dominion.
Our authentic prop replicas and collectibles are designed by the very same artists who have worked on the three films, so effectively they come straight from Middle-earth.
Wētā Workshop's legacy of finely crafted miniature figures from Middle-earth continues with the character who stole Aragorn's heart. Arwen is an Open Edition piece who partners perfectly with our Strider miniature figure.
It takes 400-500 hours to design, sculpt, model make, mold, and paint the prototype for each new piece. Whether it be a prop replica, beautiful environment or iconic character, we treat our collectibles with the same level of care and attention to detail that we bring to our film work.

Lovely ArwenThis is a lovely miniature statue for the price. She looks most convincing from just slightly angled to the side than absolutely front on. I do think the red of her dress is darker than it needs to be, especially against the very dark blue surcoat. But the pose is very graceful, and the detail on the book is wonderful. All up, a lovely reminder of that memorable scene. I\'m very happy with this purchase.

Beautiful scene, poor face sculptI love Arwen, she is one of my favorite characters. I knew that when this statue came out I had to purchase it. This scene was heartstopping in the movie, so I eagerly looked forward to seeing it sculpted. While the pose is beautiful, and I don\'t have any issues with the color choice, I was deeply disappointed in her face sculpt. She does not have a feminine or elegant face. Her face is extremely elongated with very, very narrow eyes and a pinched mouth. She does not look like Arwen/Liv Tyler. Maybe from the side, if you angle her a certain way, but head on is a disaster. Her hands holding the book are huge and disproportionate to the rest of her body.

Simply inferiorThe statue is really good value for money, but Arwen's face falls far short of the one shown in the SHOP photos. Looks kind of swollen and puffy.

TerrificArwen's side profile is absolutely spot on. Head on, something is a little off, but it is still a fairly convincing angle. The piece is very well sculpted, and the paint job is fantastic, all factors combining to create a very emotive piece. I often have people comment on Arwen over much larger pieces in my Star Wars collection. Overall, I am very impressed.

Arwen UndómielIt is such a beautiful statue!
From the side she really resembles Arwen portrayed by Liv Tyler. The colors are really pretty.
De only downside is the way she looks if you look straight at her face. -

Arwen looks like she suffers from chronic sinusitis.I would have chosen the scene when she reunited with Aragorn at the end of the movie. She looked much prettier in that moment.

ArwenThis is a well done sculpt. If you compare it to the movie scene there are a few inaccuracies; her hair hangs down on her right side, not the left and the red part of her dress is a softer more vibrant red than what is on the statue.
