From New Line Cinema, Peter Jackson and Warner Bros. comes J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit, brought to the big screen in an epic trilogy. Weta Workshop was thrilled to return to Middle-earth once again, contributing design, specialty props and specialty costumes to all three films.
Smaug the Terrible, a vision of savage wonder, mightiest of the Fire Drakes, murderous and immense, a vast, scaled beast, burning with rage that the heir of Durin had returned.
The day had finally come, when Thorin Oakenshield and his party attempt to retake the mountain and restore the people of Erebor to splendour.
Yet their efforts to exact revenge were foiled, as Smaug burst from the molten gold encasing him and bore down upon Erebor. Engulfing the city and its people in an inferno once again.
The silhouette of Smaug is stamped into the silver-plated brass pendant, and bears the Dragon’s warning:
I am Fire. I am Death.
