Seizing on news of Smaug’s death to reclaim lost heirlooms and return past wrongs, King Thranduil marched his vast army of Elves out of Mirkwood to climb the slopes of the Lonely Mountain. There he found Thorin Oakenshield holed up behind a fortress of rock, bellicose and proud as ever, even as rank upon rank of perfectly arranged Elven warriors poured into the valley before his gate, their mail, helms and spearpoints shining in the sun like an ocean of silver.

Wise though his years had made him, Thranduil was also proud and as stubborn as any Dwarf. It was not in his nature to back down before Thorin’s bluster, and he would spill blood if need be to achieve that which he craved. Armed with long, curved swords, tall shields and mighty bows, the soldiers of the Woodland Realm were a formidable force. Unnumbered years of training, innate Elven grace, and the keen sight of immortals made them deadly warriors.

But on this day the enemy would not be Dwarves, for while they traded insults with the defenders of Erebor a new army snuck upon them. Erupting from the ground, a vast horde of Orcs and other fell things spewed onto the field of battle. Elves and Dwarves cast aside their quarrel, and reforming their lines as a united force the warriors of Mirkwood stood alongside their bearded former rivals. Together they fought as one against the terrors of Azog the Defiler.

MIRKWOOD ELF SOLDIER

The latest in our 1:6 scale line, the Mirkwood Elf Soldier is designed to accompany the Dwarf Soldiers of the Iron Hills. Although available as standalone statues, we recommend displaying them as one dynamic scene, straight out of The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies.

Simply detach your Mirkwood Elf carefully from his base, connecting his back foot to the epaulette of your lead Dwarf Soldier. In an instant, these warriors of Middle-earth are poised to attack!

What's more, the Mirkwood Elf Soldier & Iron Hill Dwarves make an ideal companion to the rest of your Battle of the Five Armies characters.

Our authentic prop replicas and collectibles are designed by the very same artists who have worked on the three films, so effectively they come straight from Middle-earth.

Please note: images are of a pre-production prototype. Each sculpture is hand painted and minor variations will occur.

Behind the Scenes on The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies

Weta Workshop’s high-quality Middle-earth collectibles are designed by the very same artists and technicians who work on our movies. It takes hundreds of hours to design, sculpt, model make, mold, and paint the prototype for each new piece. Whether it be a prop replica, beautiful environment or iconic character, we treat our collectibles with the same level of care and attention to detail that we bring to our film work.

    Love this piece !
Even more as it -together with the dwarfes- reflects
a scene of the film I like the most.
Dynamic and lightweighted as an elf should be.
Loades of details and a well executed paintjob.

  2. For the King of Dale!
A stunning representation of the turning point of the Battle of Five Armies when Elves and Dwarves once more unite against a common enemy.
Loads of details have been added to bring out the glory of the Weta armour designs and the colours are crisp and clean. Fantastic use of a dynamic pose and the facial expression of the Elven warrior is perfect!
Highly recommended especially if you can get the matching Dwarf duo.

  3. Black Friday hell
Firstly the statue is perfect, everything about it is flawless and goes amazingly with the dwarfs. But the trouble I had to go through to finally get this piece has forced me to drop a star, be careful when ordering in the sales as their system can\'t keep up with it this is the third time I\'ve had a problem with the sales and the previous 2 I ended up not getting the statues so don\'t get your hope up that your getting it just because they took your money, but luckily they found one of these pieces hidden in a dusty corner of their warehouse and I was over the moon to receive it as it does go perfectly with the dwarfs of the iron hills. As always wetas statues are a work of art but their ordering system could do with updating

  4. A Marvel to Behold
Actually speechless at seeing this in person. There is so much detail in this that you find something new every time you look at it. The colors used are beautiful and powerful; they invoke a feeling of past ages of Middle Earth. I just noticed that there is carved map markings in the base of the unit as well! It feels very sturdy and well made but has this feeling of lightness to it. Like an Elf should be. Don\'t let the price dissuade you. It is worth it. Collect this before they are all gone.

  5. Mirkwood Elf Soldier
This is an amazing piece of artwork!!! There is so much detail as well as color. The statue is in constant motion. I received my tax return and decided to purchase this Elf. Thank you for the payment plan! I am eager to get this statue in person. I\'m sure the Mirkwood Elf along with the Dwarves is just as spectacular.
