This is my 2nd time submitting a review because my other one wasn't displayed for some reason. The ring is great but it did not come in the beautiful wooden box as advertised. It came in a cheap little black jewelry box. FALSE ADVERTISING

Ordering from Weta workshop, I naively assumed that the ring is made by them. It's not only made in China, but also looks cheap and different from the one in the movie. Would be nice to know that in advance and avoid the wait and unnecessary taxes from ordering from New Zealand. Disappointing.

Awesome piece and customer service

I couldn\'t be happier, a beautiful piece and my parter absolutely adores it. Had some problems with the package going missing and they promptly sent me out an entirely new one in time for our anniversary. Fantastic customer service, can\'t wait to order more awesome stuff!

The flower is too small, and it doesn\'t look like Nenya in film

I bought it for my wife who has a little hand and little fingers, but the flower still looks so small on her hand. It makes ne very dissapointed.
And the branches doesn\'t look like Nenya in the film. They merged in to one and have curvy shape, and very thick, that makes the flower look even more smaller, all I can see is the big and thick branches, and it\'s hard to wear because it\'s too thick.

Beautiful! Why\'d I wait so long?

My husband got me this lovely ring for my birthday, and it arrived on my b-day! I wanted it for years, but wouldn\'t get it for myself. (I even considered cheap knockoffs.) The real Nenya\'s even prettier in person, and it has some heft to it! The shine & sparkle are just gorgeous, and we\'re proud to support the Weta Workshop artists. Thank you!

An 11 Year Old’s Come True!

I have been waiting and waiting for 18 years to wear a real replica of Nenya! I looked into other replicas but none of them seemed right until I found this one!!! I got it on a sale and it was just delivered today! It’s smaller than I thought on the centerpiece but I’m glad I first thought it might be too big but this is just right . The sliver and the CZ jewel inset just shines and shimmer. I can’t keep looking at it.
So if you are looking for a replica go to weta, the studio that created it and committed to giving you the truest and highest quality product.

Stone\'s come loose after two weeks

Gosh, I was excited about this gift!!!! I\'ve always craved this ring, even going so far as naming my horse after it!
My boyfriend gave it to me for my birthday just eleven days ago. I\'ve worn it since, proudly. I really was over the moon with it.

But since this morning, I can hear that the stone has come loose in its fitting. It \'rattles\' with every movement I make, especially when typing. I\'m loathe to make this known to my lovely partner because I don\'t want to make him feel bad. So I\'m planning a clandestine trip to a jewelers as soon as we\'re out of lockdown. For two weeks use, I\'m a bit dissapointed. Side note: because the stone is also covered by the flower, it\'s very hard to keep clean and shiny.

I love it

Well, I did the unthinkable, ordered the wrong size but I doesn\'t matter, it fits on my baby finger and that will do! It\'s a gorgeous ring. I like the fact that it\'s on the chunkier side, chunky is almost too crass a word to describe it though. The stone is perfectly sparkly, I love the way it sits under the silver. I only got it two minutes ago...and I\'m staring at it lovingly like it was the one ring, my precious.
So pleased with it, no regrets about the size, I need to lose weight anyway and now I have the perfect incentive.

I love it! But...

I ordered this a few years ago and I still love it. But... There are a few minor flaws. First of, it\'s quite bulky and heavy, but I have gotten used to the weight and size of it so I don\'t care about it that much. Second, the stone that\'s in it turns matte after wearing it for a while. I wear it all the time, even while sleeping and showering. The stone isn\'t shiny in the first place, but the wear makes it even more matte. I had it cleaned once, and it returned to its former look but after wearing it for about a week, it turned matt again. I get that this is nothing something they could change, but I would\'ve preferred a shinier stone in it. Lastly, even though Weta is the original designer, the design looks different from the movie. If you look closely at the ring in the movie, the petals are not as closed and round as in this design. They are far more pointy and they stick out a little. Never the less, I still love this ring, and it was definitely worth it\'s money

Was so excited, but was very disappointed

The ring is so big and bulky that it hurts to wear. Also it looks like one of those plastic rings you get out of a toy machine. I feel like the 1st picture I saw before I pre ordered the ring was different. My husband agrees with me.

Passable

Agree with Joshua L\'s review that the ring is loose in the box. It\'s because the cut in the box\'s foam is too thick so the ring could never stay in place. I\'ll have to MacGyver up a solution to make it stay. Additionally, for my box, the glue that adhere\'s the foam to the wooden base stuck to the lid\'s edges. This is because the glue has not had sufficient time to dry or there was simply too much glue.

As to the ring itself, it looks great. The gemstone on mine did not rattle around. I think the ring itself could use a bit sharper/cleaner milling for the design that holds the gemstone but this might be a personal preference.

The ring is so loose in the box it doesn't stay in place, which is disappointing if you want to store the ring in the box it comes with. The gemstone is a loose piece that shakes around. The details on it weren't as great in person. :/ Disappointed.

Great ring !

After wearing this beautiful ring for two years, I can affirm that it ages very well, as long as one takes care of it. It remained absolutely beautiful and pretty much unchanged, apart from the natural scratches that might occur over time. Thanks Weta !

Nicely done weta!

I ordered this and I don't regret it at all even though it went through customs. The ring is really pretty and the zircon looks amazing in light.

Remember to check your ring size well people! I was really worried that it'd be too big or small so I took another ring of mine and went to a jewellery shop with it and asked them to measure it and asked advice. The size I ordered was just perfect!

Improves on the original

I'm very impressed by the workmanship of this piece. As others have stated, it's a perfect balance between practical, wearable design and stunning craftsmanship.

The cubic zirconia is a nice addition, much higher quality that the improperly set crystals that many other Nenya replicas have.

So pretty

As other reviewers have said, the original Nenya design has been altered for the purposes of creating a sturdier, more wearable ring. This improves it in my opinion, as I prefer chunky jewellery to the frail, spidery, diaphanous ring that appears in the films.

The best replica available, and I'm sure no-one could regret buying it.

This is a great ring.

It is not a replica of the Nenya from the films, but I like it for how it differs: it leans toward unisex, it is sturdier than any reproduction could be, and I like the design even better for myself.

The branches on the sides are not bilaterally symmetrical, which gives the design a more natural feel. The zircon has many sharp facets that catch the light nicely on close inspection.
