In the twilight of the Underworld, a moment crystallizes in time—a collision of passion and release between two gods as all other thoughts fade away. Their eyes meet in a conversation of unspoken longing and shared fears in this fleeting moment—the first kiss, an affirmation, but also a question of what’s to come.

There is a magic in storytelling through artistry, a power to move and affect its audience in ways impossible within the mundane world.

This collectible statue is a testament to that magic. Our artists painstakingly sculpted every nuance of this pivotal moment, from the tender tension in Hades' grip to the ethereal flow of Persephone’s hair, mirroring her inner turmoil and blossoming powers. The rich, vibrant colours, inspired by Rachel Smythe’s iconic palette, bring the webtoon’s whimsy and intensity to life. Each curve and contour, carefully crafted to capture the essence of this picturesque first kiss, a blend of longing, love, and raw vulnerability.

For fans of Lore Olympus, this statue is more than a piece of memorabilia – it’s a tangible connection to the story that has captured our heart. It’s a reminder of the moment that set the stage for Hades and Persephone’s epic love story, a scene that resonates with anyone who has ever felt the thrill of unexpected, all-consuming passion.

This is an invitation; to experience the magic, love, and artistry that make this story – and this statue – truly unforgettable.

When you’re doing a long-form story, there are moments where you’re working towards a payoff for the audience, who have been participating in the story for a long time. This is definitely one of those moments. It was something that people had been waiting for; it was a happy moment for the fandom. When I look at this piece, it captures that same emotion of joy. This was a significant moment for not only the story but the people [reading it] as well, and I just see it as a celebration, with how well it’s turned out. It’s looked awesome the whole way through.

So, when we heard about a fellow New Zealand artist making a splash on the international stage by crafting her own imaginary world, we couldn’t wait to reach out and join forces. Rachel Smythe’s webtoon Lore Olympus has captivated viewers from all over the globe, resonating deeply with its explorations of relationships, ideals, and social hierarchies.

That’s why we are supremely honoured to be part of the journey, helping to bring these memorable characters and moments off the page and onto your shelves.
