Brave and indomitable, the Lady Éowyn of Rohan despairs at her king and uncle’s slide into torpidity.

Rebuffing the advances of Gríma Wormtongue, his serpentine councilor, Éowyn beseeches her uncle throw off his languor, but King Théoden lies under a dark enchantment. The king’s wits have dulled and his body is withered by premature age. With her brother Éomer banished and the king’s own son dead, Éowyn sees her enemies closing in about her. Once a proud and powerful nation, the poisons of Wormtongue have perilously weakened Rohan in the face of rising threats from Mordor, and now Isengard as well.

Escaping the stifling shadows of the once merry Golden Hall for the bright air outside, Éowyn stands upon the steps of her kingdom, her fierce heart soaring free upon the wind. A shield maiden of Rohan, she will suffer no captivity, but alone among her foes, the Lady of Rohan must choose her course carefully.

  1. Breathtaking
Absolute perfection: The memorable pose, the iconic flag, the paint job, the detail on the dress and even the perfect likeness to Miranda Otto! When I first unpacked it, it took my breath away... And even now I am still enthralled by its beauty. The artist did an incredible job! Well done Weta!

  2. One of my two only female statues
I\'ve a lot of statues so far, but this one is only one of the two females I have (the other being mini Arwen), so that should say something. The detail, the likeness....wow. So happy I managed to get this one, before it went out of stock. Only 750 pieces..

  3. Just Perfect!
My first foray into Weta Collectibles ( although visited them several years ago ) and this is absolutely elegant with a reserved inner power as portrayed in the films.
It is an \"inheritance\" item for my eldest daughter, who\'s middle name is, well, easy to guess!

  4. Elegant and Beautiful
Thank you Weta for making this stunning statue. The likeness to Miranda Otto is spot on, as well as the accurate remake of this scene from Two Towers. Again, the details are incredible, as well as the flow of the flag and her dress. I did not notice any odd shade of white on her dress, mine looks pretty close to white. It is wonderfully made and a very elegant piece. Thank you again Weta for another stunning piece. Time to make a new Arwen...perhaps in her coronation dress...that would be a true masterpiece!

  5. Exquisite
I\'ve owned this for a couple of months - am more of a Hobbit collector than LOTR, but was in love w. this from first reveal and not disappointed. Some polystone statues arrive and there are issues w. paint, but this is just lovely, graceful, and wholly evocative of the iconic scene it was based on. The flow of the fabric and hair, the careful detailing. IMO anyone, not even an LOTR fan, would appreciate this elegant sculpture. Congrats to WETA on this one!

  7. \"What do you fear, Lady?\"he asked \"A cage\"she replied.
Beautiful and aloof! Stunning piece of sculpting with no half measures taken on the simple yet intricate detailing of her garments. The flag on spear takes us straight to the iconic pose from the film of Elwyn standing outside Edoras\'s gate looking despairingly out over the failing kingdom and herein lies the problem!
That scene has Eowyn in a distinctive white dress alluding to her title as \'The White Lady of Rohan\', though this was due to her complexion in the book. Still, the dress was white in the film yet this has been painted with a tinge of green. It is not off white, not cream, not dull white it is simply a very pale pastel green.
I cannot fault anything else on this stunning piece as it really is that good a sculpt and design and there is even an option to display with or without the banner. If the dress was white as it should be, this would be an easy 5* piece!

  8. Classic Art
I am stunned how beautiful this statue is.With the faraway look in her eyes and knowing she is in deep thought. The facial expressions tell a story in itself.Have it on display with lighting from above and it shows the workmanship that went into this piece. The flowing belt with so much detail of gold and silver has to be seen.I thought I had soaked it all in till I switched on the ceiling spotlights and the light hit her necklace. It looked so real ,glinting with gold that I had to touch it to see was it really only paited. The three black stones on the gold necklace just makes it POP.I could go on and on about this piece to the beautiful soft white and gold shoes which one has a added piece on the sole which slips down into the base as added support with the normal peg. Privileged to own this piece from the small number of 750.A big thank you to Weta and a big pat on the back for the artist.
