Earn 2.49 Weta Dollars! What's this?

From New Line Cinema, Peter Jackson and Warner Bros. comes J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit, brought to the big screen in an epic trilogy. Weta Workshop was thrilled to return to Middle-earth once again, contributing design, specialty props and specialty costumes to all three films.

What the hobbit Bilbo Baggins may lack in stature, he more than makes up for in cunning, courage, wit and resource.

Not completely fazed by the aggressive suspicion he encounters from the creature Gollum, he engages in a game of riddles, where the stakes are the highest imaginable, for Bilbo as well as the wretched Gollum who's just lost his most Precious possession.

There are people of extraordinary talent operating in today's world that have similar skills as the great masters of yesteryear. It just happens to be that the canvas that they paint on is the darkened screen of the cinemas of the world.

Richard Taylor - CEO & Co-founder, Weta Workshop

This pivotal event in The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey that has repercussions for so much of the mythos of Middle-earth has been expertly captured by Gus Hunter: veteran Weta Workshop conceptual designer who started on The Lord Of The Rings trilogy alongside Jeremy Bennett and was an early adopter of the digital painting techniques Weta uses today.

The external dimensions of the print are 23.2in x 11.7in (590mm x 297mm) and the printed area is 20.9in x 8.9in (530mm x 235mm). A lovely cinematic format.

It's printed on good quality 170 gsm satin paper and ships rolled up in a VERY sturdy poster tube. It will arrive in pristine condition, ready to be framed and hung, pride of place, in your home.
