From New Line Cinema, Peter Jackson and Warner Bros. comes J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit, brought to the big screen in an epic trilogy. Weta Workshop was thrilled to return to Middle-earth once again, contributing design, specialty props and specialty costumes to all three films.
This is a wonderful 70cm diameter vinyl sticker that will brighten up your room. I have it in my home office on the wall above my monitor, so when I sit back to relax I have a lovely view of Hobbiton. Best thing is, it reminds me of the fabulous time I had when my family and I visited the Hobbiton Movie Set in Matamata! Many happy memories. I also have the miniature of Bag End Hobbit Hole sitting on a shelf, and this window corresponds exactly to one of the windows on the miniature.
Wonderful detail. It\'s just like having a window into the Shire on my wall. After placing it just where I wanted, I used a soft rubber squeegee to smooth out all the bubbles. Look closely and you\'ll see Sam standing on the road. A great addition to my collection.
Really nice. It\'s big
It was easy to apply if you start at the top and roll down slowly then once applied brush it with a soft bristle brush to remove bubbles. It really compliments my collection tastefully. I love it. It\'s large and full of detail. Takes me to The Shire every time I look at it.
I think the price is very reasonable and comparable to most other wall decals of its size. I did not find it so difficult to apply, just be slow and careful. The only issue I had was that it did not stick to the walls in my apartment due to their texture, so placement should be kept in mind when purchasing this (as with all decals). It fell off the wall and stuck to itself, and when pulled apart, the vinyl stretched slightly in various places. It is vinyl, afterall. I\'ll try to salvage it, but this might be a repeat purchase for me. Where else are you going to get a decal as awesome as this besides Weta, anyway? Ignoring user error, this is a fantastic buy and a beautiful addition to any Tolkien-lover\'s home.
Not so great...
For what it is...
1. Overpriced, but a lot of things a WW are
2. Very, very difficult to apply, it comes rolled up like a poster. Come on people this is vinyl we are talking about...
Ridiculously overpriced and stop showing prices excluding vat
