Centuries ago, an alliance of Men and Elves was forged to defeat the forces of Mordor. When the fallen Wizard Saruman sent his legions to destroy the people of Rohan, the Lady Galadriel of Lothlórien honoured the spirit of this ancient pact, sending Elf bowmen to bolster the beleaguered defenders of Helm’s Deep, where the Rohirrim made their last stand.
Leading the Galadhrim was the Silvan Elf Haldir, march warden of Lórien and a great warrior, as skilled with sword as he was with bow. Buying time for the retreating Rohirrim at great cost, Haldir and his courageous Elves defended the Deeping Wall even as Saruman’s Uruk-hai breached and swarmed over them. Haldir himself stood upon the top of the wall, resisting an endless river of bloodthirsty Uruks as he covered Aragorn’s withdrawal to the Keep, resolute and fearless to the very end.

A work of artPictures just do not do this statue justice. Just received this Haldir and the likeness to the actor/character is spot on. Wonderful detail throughout this piece. Glad I added Haldir to my ever growing collection. Thanks Greg.

Delivering quality once more!I purchased this piece, along with Eomer on Firefoot, as a Christmas gift to my boyfriend. We were both mesmerized and impressed, once again, by the craftsmanship and detail of each. Weta has done it, once again, delivering outstanding quality and capturing a true likeness of two beloved characters.

The Excitement is Real!Received my Haldir today, he was beautifully packaged and is outstanding in every detail (although the handle of his sword doesn\'t quite look right when the top is inserted)! Some assembly required, but nothing more complicated than slotting pieces into holes. They fit well and are just the right mix of sturdy, but easy enough to remove for reboxing without causing damage. Haldir is reasonably heavy, nice and sturdy, definitely seems a safe piece to have out on display.
