Earn 1.99 Weta Dollars! What's this?

A director will have a vision in their head of the kind of movie they want to create but they always need great teams to realise that vision. This is what Weta Workshop, and the Weta Group of Companies, do. Based in Wellington, New Zealand, these companies, founded by Peter Jackson, Richard Taylor, Tania Rodger and Jamie Selkirk, have been an integral part of some of the biggest movies of all time.

Dimensions: 5.51" x 1.37" x 2.75" (W x H x D) 14 cm x 3.5 cm x 7 cm

Weight: 0.33 lbs (0.15 kg)

The mighty weta is one of the largest and heaviest insects in the world - and can only be found in New Zealand.

Created by local Wellington artist John Rook, this beautiful piece of craftsmanship is made entirely from copper wire, masterfully twisted, turned and soldered into a gorgeous weta, the symbol of our company and New Zealand's most iconic insect.

It's a prickly little monster that can be hung on a wall, worn as a brooch, played with (beware: it's prickly) or simply admired as a great craft piece.

It's not suitable for small children that put things in their mouths.
