An Orc of withered years and many wounds, upon his seamed visage lay records of long strife and harsh labour. Sharkû was a master of the great Wild Wolves, those fell Wargs, whose cunning and savagery few could tame. Long had he dwelt among them, bearing upon his flesh their piercing bites and tearing claws. Yet he endured and, honed by skill and scar, savagely led his pack of unrelenting hunters.

Originally created for the film trilogy, Sharkû held a unique place in Middle-earth, and quickly became a memorable bad guy for audiences around the world. Now, we have had the joy of revisiting him once again, transforming one of our earliest creations into a finely crafted collectible.

Here at Wētā Workshop, passion is the driving force behind our work. To breathe life once more into Sharkû and his viciously wolfish Warg has been both a trip down memory lane and a reopening of our creature vault.

Sculptor Luke Hawker, who has been part of Wētā Workshop’s Middle-earth story since the very beginning, drew deeply from that original source of inspiration. With great care, he refined every detail, from the rough, tattered skins and pelts to the textures of the Orc’s prosthetics, ensuring they capture the same raw energy that first fuelled our designs for the films.

Crafted with authenticity, this miniature statue embodies Middle-earth’s history and reflects the dedication to craft that has guided Wētā Workshop for decades.

As a person who owned the Toybiz lord of the rings line as a child and fell in love with the two towers film, this statue makes me very appreciative that weta took the time they did to get this piece perfect and deliver something that’s more than just a statue. The details on the warg with the menacing mouth and the accurate portrayal of sharku mounted on top ready for the charge. This piece is very special. Thank you weta

I just received sharku and he looks amazing, Great detail on sharku and the warg. I didn't give the 5 stars cause he's in a running position and they are facing down so if youre looking at the statue from above you can't really see their face ,even from straight ahead its a bit odd, you need look from underneath to see the detail on the face but otherwise looks great.
