Winner of seventeen Academy Awards, The Lord of the Rings was brought to the big screen by New Line Cinema and directed by Peter Jackson. Weta Workshop was intrinsically involved in the design and physical effects manufacture for all three films.
On their departure from Lórien, Galadriel gifted each member of the Fellowship of the Ring a hooded cloak. To fasten these cloaks, they received ornate elven brooches that were fashioned like leaves and veined with silver.

While the description does mention it is made of plastic, the image in the store page is deceptive. It is painted with normal, lackluster green and silver. The colors are not shiny and have no depth to them. Disappointed.

Perfect little leaf.
I love seeing this on my fridge every day! It looks EXACTLY like the real brooch, only not shiny and metallic, of course. I'm currently adding to my collection of these magnets. Great price for a high quality, beautiful, little piece of Middle Earth. ;)
