On a freight-hauling spacecraft in the year 2526, the Doctor finds himself the object of vengeance sought by the leader of a detachment of armoured Cybermen who are engaged in plans for a pre-emptive strike against the Earth. Distinguished from his identical chrome troops by the black markings of rank on his head, the Cyber Leader believes the Doctor must die for his crimes against them and activates his troops to engage the Time Lord.
The Cyberman Leader Helmet is made from cast metal and comes with a polystone display stand. It was created by Weta model maker and Doctor Who fan, David Tremont.
Dimensions above include the display stand.
It's the fifth in a series of six helmets from Doctor Who, available from the Weta website and at selected shows.

Like Lynx, the all metal look of the cybermen really lends itself to a sculpt in metal. Designed and sculpted by Dave Tremont, of Dr Grordbort's fame, it is a nicely detailed and well finished model of one of the best looking cybermen, from Earthshock. The tubes and jaw piece are made from translucent plastic, as they should be, and the helmet is fixed permanently to the display stand. Apart from the black on the "jug handles", there is not much paint on this piece - just a bit of wash on some of the raised areas to highlight the textures. As with all of these helmets, the stand and box is numbered. Mine is no. 397, so these seem to be selling well. Hide.
