Wow! Weta congratulates Nadine Jaggi on a supreme victory!

Every year in Wellington, the New Zealand Montana World of WearableArt™ Awards Show is held, bringing together the most creative costume artists from New Zealand and the world.

This year, the people here at Weta have followed the goings-on with particular anticipation. One of our colleagues, whose day job is as a costume technician here in the Workshop, was selected to enter one of her creations in the contest.

And it was no half-hearted effort...

Nadine Jaggi not only scooped home the top spot in her own category - the Air New Zealand South Pacific Section - her "Ornitho-Maia" went on to claim the show's highest accolade - the Supreme Montana WOW® Award!

We would like to extend a heart-felt WELL DONE to Nadine. She's not the only one who's walked around with a big smile on her face this week, but hers has undoubtedly been the biggest!

Here are some stunning photos of the amazing "Ornitho-Maia".
