Weta launches new line of District 9 Miniature Guns

We have today launched the first in a series of miniature guns from Neill Blomkamp's District 9.

First off the rank is the Alien Assault Rifle.

Cast in white metal at 1/4 scale, this gun weighs in at a hefty 2.6lbs (1.2kg).

Modelled on the props Weta made for the movie (and which are available in a range of full size guns), these are exquisite and highly detailed collectible pieces and at an edition size of only 750 are likely to sell like tins of catfood in Johannesburg!

This gun follows in Weta's tradition of miniature rayguns from Dr Grordbort's.
