W is for Weta – thanks to New Zealand Post

We've just seen a beautiful collection of stamps from NZ Post. The A to Z of New Zealand features a range of Kiwi icons – although the actual Kiwi features under “G” for Goodnight Kiwi. “K” is for Kia Ora. We love these stamps!

And – “W” is for Weta. More specifically the mechanical weta that our man Stephen Lambert has designed and that has pride of place in Weta's boardroom.

A stunning piece of mechanical wizardry and artistic expression in symbiotic harmony, it now features on a 50c stamp.
