Rik Athorne

Design Dept Supervisor

Rik is from the UK and first came to New Zealand in Dec 2006, he liked it so much he decided to stay a little longer! He has mostly worked in television production over the years as a Producer / Director on prime time entertainment shows.

Rik is now Weta Workshop Design Dept Supervisor working under the leadership of Richard Taylor.

Rik studied in the UK gaining a BA (Hons) Degree in Electronic Media/Fine Art film and video on top of a BTEC National Diploma in Photography and Video and a GNVQ in Art and Design.
