Rayguns in the Hot House

The New Dowse Gallery is proud to present Hot House - a celebration of Aotearoa's (the Maori word for New Zealand) fresh new entrepreneurial ideas and the local institutions that nurture them. Featuring Weta Workshop & Greg Broadmore's retro-sci-fi Rayguns from the world of Dr Grordbort's, this exhibition of technologically inspired art showcases the coming together of science and culture.

Other work on display includes a jetpack, a full terrain snowboard-skateboard, a multi-sensory robot and organic surfboard. The exhibition is running from now until October, so if you're in Wellington, be sure to check it out.
