Nurtured on Winnie the Pooh, raised on the Six Million Dollar Man, grew up with Dungeons and Dragons, came of age with Monty Python, matured with Warcraft, enlightened by Weta and corrupted by Dr Grordbort's. I was lucky to win a "Golden Ticket" and get to work for Richard Taylor at Weta, where I manage Weta Ltd, the sales and merchandising arm of Weta. Working for Weta gives me the chance to relive my childhood dreams, creativity and imagination. It really is like being Charlie in "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory". We are trying to make the Art of Weta more accessible for other fans around the world. We opened the Weta Cave retail store in June 2008 and now this new website in Feb 2009. I hope it helps inspire your own imagination!

Hey, you've only got 3 things in your collection - doesn't Weta pay you enough to buy stuff? :)
Tim's reply:
Hell No ! We have to pay Weta to work here !
I would gladly pay to work at Weta. But then again, I would have to spend the nights in the Weta cave as I wouldn't afford an appartment :D
Tim's reply:
Hey Stig, nice to hear from you. I'm going to send you an e-mail this week. Keep an eye out for it !
Okay, Tim, what's the game? JBcollector is not only a platinum collector who got a crate full of drunk Bond girls with his blunderbuss, he's got a Moon Hater Goliathon 800 in his Showcase.
Tim's reply:
Sorry for the delayed reply. Well, JBcollector bought one of our 3 Paint Masters for the Moon Hater. Of course, this was at a premium price since these were hand made in the workshop. Let me know if you are interested ?
Hi Tim. Just saw your post about the Moon Hater. Does that mean it's not going into mass production?
Tim's reply:
Hi Pordey, We still have not decided. If we do go ahead, it will be expensive due to the complicated design.
Hi Tim, It's Jack here. The guy who visits Weta Cave every weekend. I've noticed that the "watcher in the Water" collectable does not have a page. I'm pretty sure thats the only thing, you have done well with the web site anyway!
Hi Tim. Haven't been here for a bit so missed your message about the Moonhater. Interested, yes, but my fortune may not be quite that big. Especially if I make a trip to NZ:o)
