The 1st Orthanc I received had been manhandled in shipping & 2 of the top spires were broken. Weta customer service was so helpful & easy to work with. They got me a replacement that arrived intact, it's a wonderful piece! Hide.

I am privileged to have had the opportunity of owning some of the numbered editions. Unfortunately, with 5 cats running around the house, I can't display one - so they remain, with regret, still in their cartons just as they arrived :( I know from photos that this piece is amazing in both detail and intricate workmanship. I look forward with anticipation to Barad-dur which has been recently announced as the next environment out. Hide.

I hadn't planned on buying any enviroments beyond Bag End, but I narrowly missed getting the ruined Orthanc made by Weta some years back & now I've brought this I'm glad I did. This is a brilliant sculpt. I can't stop studying the detail & it now stands on one side of my huge map of Middle Earth waiting for Barad-dur to take its place on the opposite side. Two words...Buy it!....while you can Hide.

The detail is astounding and will leave you wondering how it could ever be achieved. I am busting over the announced Barad-Dur companion piece. A MUST OWN for any LOTR fan.
