Meet District 9 designers at Wellington Special Screening!

To celebrate the release of our new book The Art of District 9: Weta Workshop, Weta, HarperCollins and Wellington's awesome Embassy cinema - once the venue for the world premiere of The Lord Of The Rings: Return Of The King - are putting on a very special event. 

Meet the designers 

Weta designers Greg Broadmore, David Meng and Leri Greer who are all responsible for the conceptual design for the District 9 movie and whose work is showcased in the book will be there making a presentation.

You will also meet the author of the book, Weta's Daniel Falconer.

This will be a great evening with insight into the conceptual design process for a movie, and to hear the anecdotes from the designers how the fantastical creatures, technology and environment of District 9 developed.
