Possibly the only one in private hands in NZ

I was unlucky enough not to get to the Sand Diego ComicCon in 2007 but did manage to convince Weta that a NZ competition would be timely so that all the good stuff wouldn't fall into foreign hands. Unfortunately, of the ten Miniature ManMelters sold to the lucky winners, only a very few (possibly only one?) ended up in Wellington, New Zealand - the others I believe are now in Australia, where quite frankly none of the dangerous animals are 1/4 scale, making the gun useless there.
The ManMelter is one seriously cool looking gun - not as lethal looking as say, the F.M.O.M. (and I'm talking either end of the gun), but not as industriously businesslike as the Goliathon. It's got that lovely curve that suggests "deadly but sexy". Or "sexy but deadly", I forget which.
The 1/4 scale version does credit to the fullscale version, as well as to the people who made it.
