24 Sept 07 We've just announced the winner of the 'make up the wackiest F.M.O.M acronym' contest!

This month on the Weta Forums, we held a competition asking punters to send in their craziest, wackiest and most entertaining acronym for the F.M.O.M Industries Wave Disrupter Gun. Congratulations to Weta Forum member 'faiseurdevagues' from France - who suggested 'Future Masters Of Mankind' as an acronym!

Judge Greg Broadmore, creator of the Dr Grordbort's world, said this entry was impressive. "Faiseurdevagues' entry is awesome, almost better than the real name."

But the excitement doesn't stop there. This competition had so many entertaining entries that Greg just had to pick two more! Runners up prizes go out to '3d3' who's suggestion 'Formerly Mike's of Massapequa' had our judge grinning ear to ear. "I laughed out loud", said Greg. "It makes all the mystery behind the name worthwhile!"

We wonder what Leila Phantom likes to call her F.M.O.M?

The second runner up was 'darth saber', who suggested the following: 'Flouroquantum Moleculular Oscillating Munitions'. "Pure class", said our judge. "I don't know what flouroquantum molecular physics are, but don't mess with them."
