WETA BUG REPORTS: 26 July 07 Tonight we unveiled our goodies at the Weta Stand at the San Diego Comic Con 07 - man, what a blast - we even scored cupcakes!

I've just returned from an awesome Preview Night at my very first San Diego Comic Con - and now I can see why people love it so much - there is so much going on, so much to see and we get to hang out with our friends from Darkhorse once a year...

Yesterday we put up the the Lord Cockswain and Moon Mistress statue, and watched as fellow exhibitors took a sneeky peek, but we could not anticipate the excitement that the fans would give us this evening at Preview Night - whoa! Moon Mistress is holding the F.M.O.M, whilst sitting on Venus, and Lord Cockswain, towering above looking for danger, is aiming the Goliathon 83 and ManMelter at anyone who dares cross his path. I managed to catch up with some of our wonderful Weta Forums crew, and one of them even brought us homemade cupcakes!!! Yes, that's right, homemade. They were delicious - thanks MaryBlueFairy! Check out this video of the yummy event.

And who should swing by the Weta stand but actress Rosaria Dawson? Well we just had to offer her a cupcake, too - it would be too rude not to.

The show exclusives, the Miniature ManMelter, Limited Edition Prints will be on sale tomorrow at Comic Con, and the new Weta Publishing product and Doctor Who merchandise will be all revealed - so keep posted!
