Christian elaborates on his love affair with the little monsters:

"I love crabs. Little walking tanks! Jebus Almighty even saw fit to give me one as a star sign. Greg [Broadmore] and I tried all kinds of ways to get them into that film, including some pretty drastic script re-writes, and this was one of the few successful applicants.

"This was kind of a final breakdown of how this guy would work in the film. He turned out pretty much like this, but I think they coloured him in."
