23 May 07 Today's Kongcept art comes from Designer Stephen Crowe, who will be blitzing our WetaNZ Forums tomorrow...

Stephen explains:

"Another giant bug for the ravine scene - I liked the grotesque aspect of an oversized, ambulating insect with tiny vestigial wings that vibrated and buzzed madly when it got excited.

"This thing would wander around in the near dark at the bottom of the ravine, feeling around for soft bodied prey disabled by the fall from above, it's vaguely iridescent carapace glistening in patches of dim light."
