Aslan the great Lion sang the creation of Narnia long ago. He embodies all that is just and good. Mingled in his deep growl are the soothing voices of compassion and love and the earth-shaking rumble of righteous wrath.
Long has it been rumoured among the faithful that someday Aslan would return. Indeed, prophesy holds that his coming will be heralded by the arrival in Narnia of the sons of Adam and the daughters of Eve. His return will spell the end of winter and spring will restore life once more to the frozen land.

This is one of my favorite statues, being that it is so beautiful to behold. The likeness of the girls is dead on, and Aslan looks great too.

The Pevensy girls, Lucy and Susan, have been sculpted and painted to a very high standard, including all the intricate details of there robes and weapons. Aslan may look a bit 'flat' on paint detail but in hand he roars! Simply beautiful. Hide.
