Dordi is the first Norwegian to work at Weta Workshop
Dordi did a fine Arts Degree at Kent Institute of Art and Design in Conterbury UK, specializing in Painting.
After trying to make a living as a Painter for a few years she decided it was time for a career change.
Working in film seemed like a perfect option - being part of a creative team instead of working by herself.
"I came to NZ in 2006 to study at Massey University. I did the third year of the Performance Design Degree. There I met John Harding, he came as a guest tutor for the Film and SFX paper and he offered me a job at Weta".
Dordi has worked in most departments in the Workshop, but always seems to end up back in the paint room.
