Do you do tours of the workshop?

Due to the confidentiality of all the projects that pass through Weta Workshop, we can never do public tours of the actual workshop.

We have therefore created The Weta Cave, a mini-museum, a shop and a theaterette that you can visit. It's on a corner of the Weta premises in Miramar, Wellington.

The museum contains props from films and other projects we've worked on. In the theaterette we show a 20 minute behind-the-scenes DVD about the work that goes on at Weta.

And all the above is free.

If you're in a spending mood, the shop provides everything from souvenirs and Weta merchandise to collectible sculpture.
