Bruce has a varied background in different disciplins, such as, Fibreglass, Plumbing, Carpentry, Expressionist painting, Sculpting, Theatre, Puppet Maker and Bronze Castor.

He worked for Richard Taylor when he was 18 on a TV ad for GM; 22 years later he works for Richard at Weta Workshop in the collectibles department.
