Bonnie Slater

Design Team Asistant Manager

Bonnie is a relatively new member of the Weta Workshop team, starting in August 2008. Bonnie liaises with clients and supervises the Weta Designers in collaboration with Rik Athorne, Design Team Manager, to ensure the smooth running of projects.

Before arriving at Weta, Bonnie had Production Managed on numerous television shows and short films.

Bonnie is a big fan of films and film-making and has produced three winning films in the ‘V' Furious filmmaking competition. She comes from a film and television production background and is thrilled to be a part of the team at Weta Workshop. "No two days at Weta are ever the same, so it pays to stay on your toes! It is an entirely inspiring, creative environment where the most incredible things can happen and usually do."

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies- Massey University
• Graduate of The New Zealand Film and Television School.
