i'd give 4.5 stars if i could. the flowers on the front of Bag End don't stand out like they do in the photo. on the inside of my Bag End, 3 windows have no silver paint :( a small fault i know but they don't look like windows. the tree is great and the interior is amazing, just those 3 windows stop me from giving this a better score. Hide.

This is my first Weta environment and I must say I was floored when I opened it up. The detail is just amazing. I can imagine Bilbo and Frodo going about their business in Bag End! If you are debating about getting this, grab the collectors editions before they are all gone! Hide.

Simple but amazing. Bilbo's house at Bag End has been lifted out of both book and screen to make this wonderful piece. If you like a piece that's iconic, pleasing to the eye and gives you that warm, fireside glow; then this is it.
If you are going to look at it with a microscope to convince yourself that each leaf, flower, spoon etc is not 'exact'... then you will have a loooong wait to find anything close. Hide.

I was impressed with the packaging, such detail could fall foul to the postal service especially the fragile bird house.
It now holds pride of place in my loungeroom bookshelf.
Most people I show are amazed at the level of detail but when I swing it around and show them the rooms they almost faint.
One thing nearly everyone has mentioned though, is that they would love to see Gandalf and cart coming up the road.
