You can't help but say "Wow!" as soon as you open the box with your Arc generator. The amount of detail and the quality of the weathering is just breathtaking and it all comes at a reasonable price, that makes it worth every single penny. Weta did a wonderful job on this replica, making the details enjoyable even at very close inspection. It really gives you the impression of not only holding a replica in your hands, but a screen used hero prop. This is as good as it gets and you'll definitely get your money's worth.

Even the inner Box is a beautiful sight to see, with it's District 9 graphics and handwritten edition number.

The only thing that could improve this product would be maybe a edition certificate with maybe some technobabble and conceptual drawings to frame and put right next to it on the wall. Oh, and a display case, but that would only make the price explode, but would be a collector's dream.

Anyway... go buy Weta-Stuff! They kick some serious butt! Period. Hide.

There is something very special about receiving a box with a giant Weta logo printed on the front. The actual Arc Generator box came shipped in a non-labeled box, which was nice so the box wouldn't draw too much attention. I was a bit frustrated that the UPS employee left it at the door and didn't require a signature. Beyond this, the weapon was well packaged and sealed with several inches of protection along each side.

The Full Sized Arc Generator is breathtaking. The craftsmanship is exceptional and the solid construction and weight feel authentic. The detailing is incredible and the weathering is meticulously applied across the entire replica. There are small prawn script and labels covering the surface and it is apparent that product was designed to capture the small details and minutia that the filmmakers had requested from the prop team.

The Arc Generator is going to look amazing mounted above my home theater. The brackets that come with the gun are metal and each requires two screw hops. The mounts have a brushed black paint finish, and have rubberizing on the inside surfaces so the gun is not contacting the metal. I wish the brackets came with a more frame-able backing or a mounting and positioning template. Since the Arc Generator's shape projects out at different levels, it is a bit of a challenge to measure out the final screw holes for the wall mounts without a second person to hold up the model.

I am al[ready considering buying another full sized weapon! Hide.
